Black Bean Burger
Hearty and delicious, this black bean burger offers a wholesome, plant-based meal.
Ingredients
- 1 Can of Natura Bella Black Beans (400g)
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Medium sized red onion
- 1 Cup of cooked mushrooms
- 1/2 Cup of fresh parsley
- 100g of Fior Di Vita Feta CheeseΒ
- 1/2 Cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 Tsp of garlic powder
- 2 Tbsps of tomato paste
- Salt and pepper
- Golden Drop Extra Virgin Olive OilΒ
Preparation:
Method
- In a large bowl, add the beans, eggs, mushrooms, parsley, feta cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, tomato paste, salt, and pepper.
- Mash the beans with a fork and mix all ingredients.
- Shape into burgers, and transfer to a baking tray with a bit of olive oil.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 200c flip once, halfway.
- You can serve them in a burger bun with tomato slices, lettuce and onions, or on a plate with a side salad.
