Chocolate Chickpea Cookies
Try this delightful twist on a classic treat. These aren’t your average chocolate cookies; they’re secretly packed with goodness thanks to Natura Bella’s Chickpeas!
Ingredients
- 1 Can of Natura Bella Chickpeas (400g)
- 1/3 Cup of coconut sugar or brown sugar
- 1/2 Cup of cacao powder
- 1 tsp of Vanilla extract
- 1/2 Cup of coconut
- 1/4 Cup of peanut butter
- 1 Egg
- Melted dark chocolate (optional)
Preparation:
Method
- In a food processor or blender, mix Natura Bella chickpeas, sugar, cacao powder, vanilla, coconut, peanut butter, and egg.
- Process until a smooth dough forms and there are no chickpea chunks.
- Form into balls and pace them on a baking tray.
- With a fork, gently flatten each dough ball and make an x mark. if it’s too sticky, wet the fork with water.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 200Β°c
- Once the cookies are completely cooled, dip half in melted dark chocolate.
