Traditional Maltese Ftira Biż-Żejt using RedElmar Tuna Chunks in Brine

- Redelmar Tuna Chunks in Brine
- Ġbejna (chopped)
- Maltese Ftira bread
- Tomato paste
- Chopped lettuce leaves
- Cannellini Beans
- Salt and Pepper
- Fresh Parsley
- Golden Drop Extra virgin Olive oil
RedElmar Tuna Chunks in Brine
- Cut the ftira in half horizontally, spread with tomato paste, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt & pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, add RedElmar Tuna Chunks, capers, olives, onions, lettuce, cannellini beans, gbejna, parsley, and a dash of olive oil. Mix well and season as desired.
- Spoon mixture on bottom half of ftira, and place the other half on top.
- Cut in half, and enjoy!
